Carcer is the figure of confinement: the situation is fixed, what is held will remain so. Saturn imposes its strict limits. Unfavorable for movement, change, freedom. But favorable for what must be preserved, protected, kept secret: an inheritance, a property, a promise. Carcer also teaches that a frame, at times, saves.
